 <P><font  face='Arial'>The </font><span style="font-weight:bold; "><font  face='Arial'>Import</font></span><font  face='Arial'> selection from the </font><span style="font-weight:bold; "><font  face='Arial'>File</font></span><font  face='Arial'> menu lets you create a new nursery appraisal from a list that was exported from another copy of the Nursery Appraisal Software or from the Eligible Plant List and Plant Price Schedule Software.  This option is only available when you are on the </font><A href="CLIS_MAINTENANCE.htm"><span style="font-weight:bold; "><font  face='Arial'>Client Selection and Maintenance</font></span></A><font  face='Arial'> </font><span style="font-weight:bold; "><font  face='Arial'>Screen</font></span><font  face='Arial'>.</font></P>
 <P style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">&nbsp;</P>
 <P><font  face='Arial'>To import a file that was exported from a copy of the 2009 or 2010 Eligible Plant List and Plant Price Schedule Software or from another copy of the 2009 or 2010 FCIC Nursery Appraisal Software, you will need to know the location and name of the file.  </font></P>
 <P style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">&nbsp;</P>
 <P><font  face='Arial'>Be careful to specify the correct source of the file to be imported.  The computer will only show files with the specified extension as follows:</font></P>
 <P style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">&nbsp;</P>
 <P><font  face='Arial'>&nbsp;2010 Nursery Appraisal Software &nbsp;-.xc6 </font></P>
 <P><font  face='Arial'>&nbsp;2010 Eligible Plant List and Plant Price Schedule Software &nbsp;-.xp6</font></P>
 <P><font  face='Arial'>&nbsp;2009 Nursery Appraisal Software &nbsp;-.xc5</font></P>
 <P><font  face='Arial'>&nbsp;2009 Eligible Plant List and Plant Price Schedule Software &nbsp;-.xp5</font></P>

 <P><font  face='Arial'>A warning message will appear if the selected file's extension does not agree with the import source selected on the screen show below.</font></P>
 <P style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">&nbsp;</P>
 <P class="Body-Text-2" style="margin-left:45.00pt;text-indent:-27.00pt;"><font  face='Arial'>Note:</font><span style="font-weight:normal; "><font  face='Arial'>  Files from software other than those listed above cannot be imported.  Altering the extension will cause the import to fail.</font></span></P>

 <P><font  face='Arial'>When importing a new appraisal, a pop-up box will appear showing the state and county of the appraisal and the type of insurance for Container and Field Grown crops.  You may change any of these settings by clicking on the down arrow at the right of the line, and the modified information will be shown on the &quot;</font><span style="font-weight:bold; "><font  face='Arial'>Import Exception Report</font></span><font  face='Arial'>&quot;.  Be aware that some plants from the previous appraisal list may not be insurable if the county hardiness zone is different from the county hardiness zone used for the original list.  If Buy-up insurance is selected and the Nursery Growers Price Endorsement is available in the selected state, you may also select to endorse either or both crops/practices.</font></P>
 <P style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">&nbsp;</P>
 <P><font  face='Arial'>A file from the 2009 Eligible Plant List and Plant Price Schedule Software or the 2009 Nursery Appraisal Software will have all price endorsement flags cleared and will be converted using the 2010 maximum insurance prices.  The imported plant lines will show the previous quantity and the lesser of the catalog price or the 2010 insurance price.  An &quot;</font><A href="IMPORT_EXCEPTION.htm"><span style="font-weight:bold; "><font  face='Arial'>Import Exception Report</font></span></A><font  face='Arial'>&quot; will be generated and can be previewed or printed prior to the file import.  This report will indicate any changes in state and/or county, insurance type, and hardiness zones, will list any plants that have not been included on the import which are uninsurable, and will list any imported plants with a modified name or price which are insurable.  For all plants, you should update quantities, grower catalog prices, and endorsements to the desired values for the 2010 crop year list.  </font></P>
