PM-26-037: 2026 Crop Year (CY) Common Crop Insurance Policy and Area Risk Protection Insurance Harvest Prices Announcement

For the Common Crop Insurance Policy and Area Risk Protection Insurance, the Risk Management Agency (RMA) approved 2026 CY harvest prices for insurance offers with a harvest price discovery period of June 1, 2026, through June 30, 2026. These values may be viewed in the attachment and on RMA’s Price Discovery Portal.

These values will also be available by July 6, 2026, at the following locations on RMA’s website:

PM-26-036: Enhanced Coverage Option, Margin Coverage Option, and Supplemental Coverage Option Endorsement Changes Effective for the 2027 and Succeeding Crop Years

BACKGROUND:

On July 4, 2025, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (“OBBBA”, officially designated as H.R.1) was signed into law. OBBBA allowed the Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO) Endorsement to be purchased regardless of an insured’s Area Risk Coverage (ARC) election with the Farm Service Agency and increased the maximum coverage level from 86 to 90 percent. On August 15, 2025, the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board of Directors approved corresponding coverage level changes for the Enhanced Coverage Option (ECO) and Margin Coverage Option (MCO) Endorsements.

PM-26-035.1: Canola and Rapeseed Crop Provisions Changes Effective for the 2027 and Succeeding Crop Years

BACKGROUND:

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) revised the Canola and Rapeseed Crop Provisions to allow enterprise units by type.
The changes are effective beginning with the 2027 crop year.

ACTION:

The Canola and Rapeseed Crop Provisions (27-0015) will be available by June 30, 2026, on the Risk Management Agency (RMA) website at www.rma.usda.gov.

PM-26-035: Canola and Rapeseed Crop Provisions Changes Effective for the 2027 and Succeeding Crop Years

BACKGROUND:

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) revised the Canola and Rapeseed Crop Provisions to allow enterprise units by type.

The changes are effective beginning with the 2027 crop year for counties with a June 30, 2026, contract change date, and for the 2028 crop year for all other counties.

ACTION:

The Canola and Rapeseed Crop Provisions (27-0015) will be available by June 30, 2026, on the Risk Management Agency (RMA) website at www.rma.usda.gov.

PM-26-034: Dry Pea Revenue Endorsement Changes Effective for the 2027 and Succeeding Crop Years

BACKGROUND:

On May 21, 2026, to be consistent with the Common Crop Insurance Policy, Basic Provisions, as amended in the Expanding Access to Risk Protection final rule (90 FR 54523), the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board of Directors approved premium reimbursement for the Dry Pea Revenue Endorsement when a harvest price cannot be determined.

PM-26-033: Forage Production Crop Provisions Changes Effective for the 2027 and Succeeding Crop Years

BACKGROUND:

On May 21, 2026, the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board of Directors approved modifications to the Forage Production Insurance Program. Beginning with the 2027 crop year, the Forage Production Actual Production History (APH) plan of insurance will be converted to the Yield Protection (YP), Revenue Protection (RP), and Revenue Protection with Harvest Price Exclusions (RP-HPE) plans of insurance in select counties in California, Idaho, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Washington, and Wisconsin.
